Help us tackle off-road bikes on Banstead Commons

We are aware of a recent increase in off-road bike activity on Banstead Commons. This presents a serious safety risk to residents and visitors, and is causing damage to our precious chalk downland — a rare and sensitive habitat that supports a wealth of wildlife.

𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞:
• If the incident is happening now, call 999
• If the crime is no longer taking place, report via 101, online, or through @surreypolice social media channels

Surrey Police have advised that the volume of reports received directly influences their ability to allocate resources to this issue. Reporting incidents, even if they may seem minor or isolated, is therefore essential to ensure the matter is appropriately prioritised.
