Our Site Management Plans – have your say

June 2024

Banstead Commons Conservators are working together with Surrey Wildlife Trust to develop 10 year Site Management Plans for each of our four sites: Banstead Downs, Banstead HeathBurgh Heath and Park Downs.

A Site Management Plan details how we intend to prioritise resources and organise our land management for the benefit of people and wildlife over a period of ten years.

Commencing on Saturday 1 June and running until Sunday 30 June we are holding a four week public consultation to gather the views from a range of different stakeholders.  We are asking the local community, our visitors and supporters for their comments and suggestions on how Banstead Commons are managed so that we can enjoy our wonderful environment and allow the natural wildlife and ecology to thrive.

We ask that all feedback and comments are sent back to us no later than Sunday 30 June so that your views can be considered prior to the Conservators formally adopting the plans at our Quarterly Meeting.
